Group Crit II

Today we met with Andi to discuss our ideas and interpretations of the academic text we were given on monday titled 'Inside/out'. Everyone was a bit overwhelmed by the complexity of the text and getting to grips with it ourselves so it was helpful being able to discuss it with Andi and bounce initial ideas of each other about where to direct our own work to fit the brief.

I shared my initial idea of the direction I think I'm going to go with my project; using my living space in halls as a basis, the idea of shooting through windows of my flatmates doing ordinary things, such as eating/ relaxing/ socialising together.

My thoughts were well received and I came away having a clear idea of where my work is headed and what I am looking to achieve. After today I plan to go away and look into starting to shoot some initial ideas and see how a shoot turns out, I can then discuss my direction in my 1 to 1 on tuesday and then again in next weeks crit.
