Accessorize SS16

I came across this advertising campaign for Accessorise as it featured Elle Trowbridge, who went to school with one of my good friends, and I have been following her career as a fashion model for a while. I really liked the colours and they immediately stood out to me as images similar to my images for my third project. The bright and contrasted images are well styled and the use of coloured backgrounds works really well. in particularly, the bright pink nails and earrings and the bold blue eyeliner really pull the second image below together.
What surprised me even more was upon finding out the photographer of this campaign, it was Ruth Allen, a photographer whose work I am already familiar with after finding her pastel portraits.
Out of the two series I definitely prefer this one, they are much more striking and the light direction is very flattering and creates a sun kissed look whereas the other series was quite flat and in comparison,   feels less polished and defined as a set of images.
